Expectations !!! Should we expect or not???????

Have you ever realized why we feel hurt inside when people ignore us? Why you feel sad when no one stands for you? Why we feel cheated when someone we love, someone we rely on, leaves us and holds someone else's hand? Have you felt people use you? They use like a ladder to climb the steps of success and once they reach where they want, they don't even recognize you? They learn from you and are not even  thankful to you?

The only answer to all the above questions is "EXPECTATIONS"

It’s good to say - don't expect from others, not to have any expectations from people, but come on yaar, after all we are human beings and we do have expectations from the people , we expect a bit from our near and dear ones. I personally don't believe there is anyone in this world who doesn't even have a little bit of expectation from others.

At least we all expect a good behaviour from others, we expect a note of thanks when we do something for others, we expect a polite behaviour from our colleagues whom you have helped when they were struggling with their work, we expect our friends to help us, to listen to us when are grumpy and gloomy. We expect our partner to hug us and say - "Everything will be fine baby, I am always with you", We expect our parents to understand the reason for our failure. We expect to be loved by our loved ones  when we love them truly, we expect to get good marks when we study a lot, we expect to get a promotion when we work hard in office, We expect to look good when we buy new apparels, we expect to get a seat in a crowded bus, we expect to be wished by all our friends on our birthday. We expect to be praised when we dress up. We expect our favourite celebrity to win dance competition in JHALAK DIKHLAJA or NACH BALIYE. We expect whenever INDIA plays match with any country it should win the match.

In our day to day life not even a single day passes by when we don't expect. We all know there's a saying that there is no life without hope, the same way I feel there is no life without expectation.....there is nothing wrong in expecting...even if you don't expect intentionally....your subconscious mind will have some kind of expectation for sure.....its humanly impossible to lead a life without expectation...Expectation is commonly mistaken as benefit but when we want INDIA to win the match, we do not have any personal benefit….cricket players get paid for it. When we expect our favourite film star to get the award we don’t get benefited from  it either. Sometimes expectation is only a pleasure, a satisfaction. But we should try to restrict our expectations with only a few people and not expect from the entire world... :)
